Piston-Operated Mechanisms

Our "Music-Wire" balancing springs can be added or removed (without tools) to accommodate your mattress choice.

Unfortunately, Pistons have no adjustment to fit different mattress & bedding weights.  Specific weights are necessary to operate the beds.

Our springs allow the use of all types of mattresses, in all sizes, whether they be Air, Tempurpedic Foam, or an Innerspring mattress.

Your mattress has to be a specific weight in conjunction with the weight of your bed cabinet face-panels in order to operate.

Floor Mounting

We offer both a Floor Mount & Wall Mount Base.  Both are fully functional with or without a bed cabinet.  Also, our floor mounting does NOT require the removal of carpet or any type of flooring to mount to our bed.

The piston operated wall mount is only secure is the following are present:

1.  The piston is secured to the side of      the cabinet and bed lift panels

2. The nailer at the rear header is secured to the bed cabinet verticals

3.  The rail has been successfully attached to the studs

Adjustment & Shipping/Assembly Concerns

All components of our mechanism are shipped together.  Cabinets, for safety during shipping, are shipped in separate boxes/crates.  Side Cabinets are shipped fully assembled.  Our Mechanisms operate fully with or without a bed cabinet.  Mechanisms are fully assembled, simply mount to floor or wall to use.  If installed in a cabinet, all components are contained within the cabinet and ALLOWS adjustment to suit any mattress you wish.

 Pistons require no adjustment because no adjustment can be made.  Unlike the Spring mechanisms which support any mattress & weight you choose with simple, tool-free adjustment.

Bi-fold Doors

For ease of use and to increase your options, we offer both Bi-fold door cabinets & flatface "panel" doors to accommodate your wishes and needs.  We also exclusively offer bi-folding Pocket Doors which eliminates doors from being in the way and still takes advantage of the easy-to-use bi-folding door.

Bi-fold doors have been used for hundreds of years.  This ancient design is proof positive of their lasting and sensible design.  They are both user and "height" friendly, ensuring carefree use by persons of all ages.

Ease of Installation

Our mechanisms come fully assembled.  Installation is both clear and easy. 

Our search for an accurate & sensible response to "installs in minutes", in reference to building a cabinet, installing a piston and positioning the two with exact specifications has proven futile.  So we simply ask, "How?"
